“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful; I know that full well.” Psalm 139:13-14

Mrs. Oskvarek spent the last sixteen years as a teacher in Marquardt School District 15 out of Bloomingdale and Glendale Heights where she was a classroom teacher, a gifted math teacher, a member of various curriculum committees and the District’s summer school co-principal. Mrs. Oskvarek holds National Board certification in literacy and middle school math and gifted endorsements among others. She has a Master’s Degree in teaching and a Master’s Degree in administration both from National Louis University.

She is a lifelong Lutheran and graduated from a Lutheran elementary school and high school. Mrs. Oskvarek and her husband, Jack are members of Bethany Lutheran Church in Naperville where she served as a PTL Treasurer and Confirmation Mentor. Her adult sons graduated from Bethany Lutheran School.

Early in her professional life, Mrs. Oskvarek obtained a Master’s Degree in Human Resources from Loyola University and worked as the Midwest Area Sales Compensation Manager for Hewlett Packard but she always felt called to teach and entered teaching as a second career. She is excited about working with the students at St. Luke where she can, in partnership with parents work to develop the unique God given talents of each of her students.
