Becoming a Member
We are very pleased to know you are interested in becoming a member of Saint Luke. New Member classes are offered quarterly to adults who want to join the church and are not transferring from another LCMS Church or to current members who want to review the basic teachings of the Christian faith.
The membership process involves three different steps:
1. Attend New Member Class
Class meets one hour a week for 10 weeks in the church. During this class students will grow in their knowledge of the Bible, but more importantly, they will grow in their faith. The class is informal and taught in a comfortable environment that encourages questions and discussion.
2. Complete Time & Talent Form
Class attendees who are interested in becoming a member are asked to submit a time and talent form (provided at the class). The form asks about candidates gifts and talents and different ways they can connect and serve at Saint Luke.
3. Attend New Member Sunday
Once the class is complete, aspiring members will attend a special Sunday worship service where they are officially brought into Saint Luke membership and presented to the congregation. Small celebration will follow.
The goal of the class is to get a better idea of the teachings of the Lutheran Church and what the members of Saint Luke, its pastors and teachers believe and teach. Please fill out the form below if you would like to join our family.
