Read: The Itsy Bitsy Leprechaun

Art: Rainbow-n-pot of gold

Lent-Easter: We have started our Lenten Season and now until Easter Sunday we will be talking about Lent/Easter. We will be reading stories that explain this wonderful season. The students will be opening one Resurrection Egg every day that communicates the true story of Easter by using small tangible objects symbolizing the events in the life of Jesus. There is an easy to understand story that will be read while we discover what treasure is hidden in our colorful eggs.

Grandparents Day:
GRANDPARENTS DAY HEAD COUNT went home LAST WEEK!! Please let us know how many Grandparents/Special friends we can expect. We have received most responses and thank you. For those of who have not as of yet responded, please do so by tomorrow. Thanks so much.  This year’s Grandparents Day is scheduled for Wednesday, March 20 for the PM CLASS and Thursday, March 21 for the AM CLASS, and will occur during our normal class hours. There is NO SCHOOL for the AM CLASS on Wednesday, March 20 and there is NO SCHOOL for the PM CLASS on Thursday, March 21. On Friday, March 22 there is NO SCHOOL FOR EVERYONE because we start Spring Break!

Thursday: March 21st is the Operetta for ALL STUDENTS. Students should be in the classroom at 6:15pm wearing blue jeans. Shirts have been provided of which we will keep at school. We have been learning new songs to sing for this musical evening.

St. Luke Color Run:
Saint Luke will be hosting the Color Run again this year on Saturday: April 13th at 10:00am. The Saint Luke Color Run features an untimed fun run/walk or a 2.5 mile course. During the race, participants are doused with a color at various color stations ending with one final color celebration at the end with colored powder. The Color Run aims to engage the entire student body in a fitness initiative that aims to instill a life-long healthy way of living while having fun and raising money for new furniture for our newly renovated STEAM lab.


****Parents: When connecting via email/phone call to St. Luke on days your child is not feeling well and will not be attending school, please be sure to let the office know as well. Thanks so much.

****If you have not done so already, please bring in an extra change of clothing for your child to keep in their locker. Have the clothing in a clear zip lock bag with their name on the bag
