WON by ONE!
Won by One is the
theme for this school year.

But thanks be to God! He gives us victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.  Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm.  Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
1 Corinthians 15:57-58

Chapel Offerings
Our chapel offerings for the month of March and April will be going to support Swaddling Clothes.  Swaddling Clothes is a program run by various congregations of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod to share the mercy of Christ with their neighbors through the gift of clothing, food, friendship, and the forgiving Word of God.  There are approximately 14 centers throughout the United States.  Calvary Lutheran Church in Elgin is the local congregation which operates a Swaddling Clothes.

St. Luke Color Run:
Saint Luke will be hosting the Color Run again this year on Saturday: April 13th at 10:00am. The Saint Luke Color run features an untimed fun run/walk or a 2.5 mile course. During the race, participants are doused with a color at various color stations ending with one final color celebration at the end with colored powder. The Color Run aims to engage the entire student body in a fitness initiative that aims to instill a life-long healthy way of living while having fun and raising money for new furniture for our newly renovated STAEM lab.

Update…we have met our goal for a BUDDY BENCH!!! Thank you for bringing in all those caps…but don’t stop. We decided to keep collecting caps and lids and are going for another bench. So PLEASE KEEP BRINGING IN THOSE CAPS AND LIDS!!!

****Parents: When connecting via email/phone call to St. Luke on days your child is not feeling well and will not be attending school, please be sure to let the office know as well. Thanks so much.

****If you have not done so already, please bring in an extra change of clothing for your child to keep in their locker. Have the clothing in a clear zip lock bag with their name on the bag.

Prayer
As a school and staff, we’ve been talking a lot about prayer (Praise, Repent, Ask, and Yield); teaching the kids to pray for you, each other, and our school daily. We pray for you in our class devotions, staff devotions and when specific things come up. When situations arise good or bad in your life and you would like prayer, please don’t hesitate to let us know how we can help. We also ask that you pray for our school, teachers and pastors with your children.

Prayer is very powerful, and God hears and answers all our prayer.
