Kindergarten Important Dates and Events

Won by One is the
theme for this school year.

But thanks be to God! He gives us victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.  Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm.  Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

1 Corinthians 15:57-58

Chapel Offerings
Our chapel offerings for the month of March and April will be going to support Swaddling Clothes.  Swaddling Clothes is a program run by various congregations of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod to share the mercy of Christ with their neighbors through the gift of clothing, food, friendship, and the forgiving Word of God.  There are approximately 14 centers throughout the United States.  Calvary Lutheran Church in Elgin is the local congregation which operates a Swaddling Clothes.

As a school and staff, we’ve been talking a lot about prayer (Praise, Repent, Ask, and Yield); teaching the kids to pray for you, each other, and our school daily. We pray for you in our class devotions, staff devotions and when specific things come up. When situations arise good or bad in your life and you would like prayer, please don’t hesitate to let us know how we can help. We also ask that you pray for our school, teachers and pastors with your children.

Prayer is very powerful, and God hears and answers all our prayers.

The Story Bible
This is the Bible that I use in class and my Kindergarten
friends seem to love it.  The Bible stories are easy to follow and have beautiful illustrations.  At the end of each Bible story there is a section called: Ask – Do- Pray.  I feel this is a great way to share God’s message.  If you are interested in purchasing a Story Bible ($20) please contact Mrs. Zaccaria.

Makes a great gift!
