As a school and staff, we’ve been talking a lot about prayer (Praise, Repent, Ask, and Yield); teaching the kids to pray for you, each other, and our school daily. We pray for you in our class devotions, staff devotions and when specific things come up. When situations arise good or bad in your life and you would like prayer, please don’t hesitate to let us know how we can help. We also ask that you pray for our school, teachers and pastors with your children.

Prayer is very powerful, and God hears and answers all our prayers.

The Story Bible
This is the Bible that I use in class and my Kindergarten
friends seem to love it.  The Bible stories are easy to follow and have beautiful illustrations.  At the end of each Bible story there is a section called: Ask – Do- Pray.  I feel this is a great way to share God’s message.  If you are interested in purchasing a Story Bible ($20) please contact Mrs. Zaccaria.

Makes a great gift!

L.I.F.T. meets every other Tuesday of each month from 9:30-11:00 AM.  Our first meeting is Tuesday, September 3, 2019.
We are always looking for new ladies to join us! Children are welcome, we meet in the church narthex, and have access to the nursery.  We are studying the book of Hebrews.

Any questions please contact Gwen at

We have a team of people from St. Luke’s Church, going on a mission trip to Ethiopia. They are collecting gently used prescription eyeglasses and non-prescription sunglasses. The mission team will be conducting several eyeglass clinics in different parts of the country. They will especially focus on two different schools for the deaf. They will accept adult glasses, children’s glasses, over –the-counter reading glasses and non-prescription sunglasses- as long as they are in good condition.! They are not able to accept frames or lenses by themselves; nor can they accept broken glasses.

Please consider donating your gently used glasses. Simply put them in a bag marked “Eyeglass Mission Trip” and we will be sure to pass them on to the team. Please pray for this team as they prepare for this important mission trip. May their trip be a blessing to others!

Beverage Tabs to Support
Ronald McDonald House

We are collecting beverage tabs to help support our local Ronald McDonald House, a temporary “home-away-from home” for the families of seriously ill children being treated at nearby hospitals.

Please drop off tabs in the Kindergarten classroom.
