Early Childhood Programs

In our early childhood grades we offer several extra curricular activities for our students. Please see below for these offerings:

Music is an important part of our Lutheran Day School curriculum. All students in grades Preschool through 8th grade receive classroom music instruction and sing in a choir or ensemble. Children make beautiful music, and at Saint Luke, we encourage them to “Make music to the Lord!” (Psalm 96:13)

Saint Luke's Angel Choir is composed of the Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten students. Angel choir rehearses during the school day. They sing throughout the school year during the various church services. In December, they have an Early Childhood Advent Service. In March, Preschool and Pre-K students perform songs before the all-school Operetta and Grandparents Day Celebrations.

Super Star Soccer is an after school program offered to children Preschool through 1st Grade. Classes are non-competitive, using positive reinforcement to teach children soccer skills in a fun, engaging, educational environment.  This unique age-specific curriculum is designed by a combination of early childhood, behavioral, and soccer specialists to ensure that each child is learning, improving their self-confidence, and having a blast from the moment the whistle blows.
